During your first session, we will spend some time getting to know you and working out what the main issues may be. After this, we will try to provide a brief summary of what we think may be going on for you and what we think may be helpful in addressing these issues.
Usually this involves individual or family treatment using short-term strategies aimed at helping you understand the nature of the issue and learn new coping strategies. Because we are limited in what can be achieved in a 1 hr session, we may ask you to spend some time collecting information between sessions, or practicing new skills
